In an effort to educate passengers on upcoming detours, CityBus will hold public open houses on February 14 and February 16.
Route detours will affect most routes that service West Lafayette, including 1B Salisbury, 4B Purdue West, 5 Happy Hollow, 8 Klondike Express, 10 Northwestern and all campus loop routes. The detours are a result of the upcoming State Street project, which will transform the main corridor through campus. Detours will go into effect on April 1 when the street closures for the first phase of the project begin.
Materials will be available at each of the public open houses. The community is invited to stop in:
- Tuesday, February 14, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. - McAllister Room B, Tippecanoe County Public Library, 627 South St., Lafayette
- Thursday, February 16, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Elm Room, West Lafayette Public Library, 208 W Columbia St., West Lafayette
For those who would are unable to attend a meeting, information will be available on the CityBus website. Information will also be available at the customer service window at CityBus Center, 316 N. 3rd St. in Lafayette. CityBus Center is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. through 6 p.m.
